Recovering from the explosion

On August 4th 2020, reportedly a large amount of ammonium nitrate exploded causing over $15bn in structural damage and leaving around 300,000 people homeless. This was already in a country impacted heavily by the Covid-19 pandemic and inflation.

What you can do to help

Lebanon is a unique country where a substantial proportion of the population has refugee origins, whether it be Palestinian or Syrian, Lebanon has hosted many of these refugees for decades. Now with the situation deteriorating rapidly, even the native Lebanese are experiencing substantial hardship. Jigsaw are providing aid directly to support Lebanese, Palestinian and Syrian families to help them in their time of need.
